It has been too long since I wrote in my blog! So much is going on and things have changed. Some for the better, some for the worse. Well I started seeing someone new in December, he is a really great person. Not perfect but who is? We spend a lot of time together and love each other. Well I am happy to say we are expecting a baby in yet again September. It has been a stressful pregnancy to say the least. The kids and I got into a major car accident in February and I had some internal bleeding and was worried I would lose the baby. I have been home from work since then, I find myself having a lot of anxiety about going back to work for some reason? Anyway enough of that for now. A few pictures...

Even though it is out of order I forgot to post about Christopher's baptism! It was the first Saturday of October and I totally spaced posting. It was really nice, just him and another girl from our ward. We then went as a family to chuck a rama for lunch it was an awesome day! Congrats to Chris for making such an awesome decision! I love you and I know your dad and I am so very proud of you!

I had changed the blog to Halloween and never even put up pictures! Shame on me. I admit I haven't done much with the camera lately but I am trying. Here are a few of the kids, I had to work and Preston and Brooklyn ended up being up sick all night. It was a good start to Halloween ending off with the tummy bug, yucky!

I really feel like I don't know what to do with myself anymore. If I didn't have kids it would be really easy to curl up into a ball and cry all day long, but I can't do that. Things are going as well as they can I suppose. I have had to make a lot of decisions and sometimes I wonder or wish rather that I knew which choice to make and what will happen. BUT I do realize now more than ever that things do happen for a reason, and some we may not know. But I do know that there is a plan and there is more than this here! Our plans and lives have changed and sometimes we have to be ready for gods plans, they are not always the same as ours. And there is no such thing as an unanswered prayer, sometimes the answer is no, or not right now. And if you ask why you might not know that answer until it is our time. I miss Mark, my heart aches, my nerves are shot, my kids fight and aggravate me, but we are doing it and making it work because life goes on. The day Mark died I went to bed thinking how is it possible that the sun is going to come up tomorrow, how do we go on? The answer is rely on the Lord and put our faith with him. The fact that life goes on for us is a bittersweet reminder. I feel like 9 years married just wasn't enough. I wanted more time, I wanted my kids to have their father here for their weddings and graduations. I am sure he will be watching over us but somehow that is not always comforting. I hope my rambling makes some sense I am just trying to work through this and hopefully come out in one piece.

We bought a swingset for the kids and they have been enjoying it a lot! Unfortunately it is going back to walmart tomorrow. It has broken twice! In 2 weeks I am not happy at all! We are going to see about moving to Oklahoma too i guess, kind of exciting and nervous as i have never lived away from my family. If we can sell our house we will be heading that way.

Or perhaps fr-enemies? I am referring to my two youngest cherubs. You know the ones with a halo held up by their horns? They are sooo busy, gang up against me and anyone that dares to pick on the other. Today Brooklyn told me Preston is my best friend then she proceeded to push him on his butt. I have been feeling really blue this week, we got news my Aunt Cande isn't doing well and is probably not going to make it. It always brings on feelings of what happened to my sister. I have to rely on my faith but that is hard sometimes. I have been thinking about it and praying for her family to have peace. It is hard to hear of their struggles. Oh there is so much on my mind at any given time! Today I think i am going to vent about not being able to find work. I don't want a pitty party or anything like that but it has been hard on me all the way around. I feel like I am less than because I can't seem to find something that will work. In all of the time I have been laid off now (9 months) I have applied for everything and anything. I have had one interview that I thought went well, the interviewer called me personally and said I did really well, but there are sooo many people out there right now looking for work I feel less than. Everyone keeps saying oh they would be lucky to have you but I am starting to wonder........

My goal is to get back in shape. I have been working out nightly on my Gazelle and I love how I feel. At first I was so sore all of the time but now I feel the burn in my muscles and it feels good to me. I love how much more energy I have during the day, I love how it makes me sleep better at night. I can do it while watching tv so I don't stare at the timer and wonder when I will be done. It is my goal to do this every night of the week and so far I am doing really great :)

This week's challenge is to write about someone who inspires you. I have found some of the biggest and smallest people inspiring. Lately, not much has inspired me because I feel so down about our situation off and on. I mean I realize we are better off than some, we have a roof over our heads and food in our tummies. But thinking of inspiration and who inspires me I would have to say today that would be my mom. She is always doing what is right and what needs to be done, not always with support. She has helped with my kids while I was working, and when I have needed it off and on. My sister passed away and she has her children, raising them. She takes my nephews on a regular basis, and she is always good to them no matter how she is feeling. She also works at Home Depot and dis a scout leader, she still manages to cook and clean and make sure all in her charges are taken care of. She is not ever lacking in the patience department. This inspires me, makes me want to do better with my home, kids, spouse etc. So to my mom, my inspiration I would like to say thank you being such a wonderful example to me. I love you......

We didn't do anything out of the ordinary but it was special. To be home with our kids and niece and nephew and just do dinner, play games on the wii and enjoy each others company was great. Mark took the older kids out sledding and I stayed at home with Brooklyn and Preston. We also ran to walmart which they love to do. Mark crashed and burned though, and still is pretty dang sore. He scraped his face and lips and bled all over. Poor guy, don't think he will be sledding anymore.

It has been too long! Thanksgiving came and went, it was everything good bad and ugly. Things are good and back to normal. I didn't take many pictures due to having my hands full but it was a wonderful meal if I do say so myself. The kids really enjoyed having their cousins over and my cousin Shanny stayed later and talked with us it was a lot of fun! I sure do love and appreciate our family.

We had the boys party a bit early this year but it was nice. They made out like little bandits. Preston turned 2 on Sunday, he is sure onery lately. Kind of reminds me of his dad LOL. It is going to be winter here before we know it I think, it is sooo cold. Thursday Chris will be 8! It is hard to believe, Brooklyn feels so left out because her birthday is not until January. Life is truely too short.....

Today my best friend called me and told me her father had passed away. I know it is a normal part of life. We are born to die, but we always wonder why and how come so soon. I know these are questions our lord can only answer. I am sitting here wondering what kind of comfort I can offer here and I am dumbfounded, I feel like I need to do something for her......anything. I just went through a death last week and it always just throws me for a loop. I am hoping and praying she can make it through this tough time.

The last week of August was crazy for us. We got word that my grandma was sick and probably not going to make it. So we went to see her on the 23rd and that was very hard to see her like that, but I needed to do it. We told her it was okay to go home. She could hardly talk or move, she had another stroke. She ended up going home August 25th around noon. And we are all sad and yet happy for her at the same time. She looked amazing at her funeral. I helped my mom, sisters, cousins and unlce sing a song for her called "going home" and amazingly it helped me be at peace. She was buried on August 29th a day before my 32nd birthday. We had a party here afterward which I didnt take pictures of unfortunately. School finally started for Christopher on August 31st and he has really enjoyed the first week, his teacher is really awesome. So anyway here are some photos to share. Also would like to thank friends and family for all of your thoughts and prayers through this time.

Really bad, sad and stressful. I have tried to start working and that has done nothing but stress out our family. Mark is having a lot of pain issues that we are working on figuring out and my dear grandma is on her death bed. She had another stroke and I feel it won't be long til she passes over. I pray for a speedy and peaceful time for her. Mark's aunts came through and it was a joy to see them. I have a few pictures from their visit.

And we haven't done anything fun! We have been through hell literally this summer. I lost my job in June, then the homeowner's insurance tried to cancel us so we ended up replacing our roof and two windows for the insurance to cover us. And bank issues, ugh I have been praying and I hope things will look up soon. We are starting to feel overwhelmed.

Well another week or so has passed so I am posting. We have sure been busy this summer. When I got laid off I was thinking what am I going to do with myself? Between taking care of kids and the house, helping Mark with paperwork, and dental appointments. Then not to mention baseball games I have kept a pretty busy schedule! We are going to be replacing our roof and the front 2 windows so we can keep our insurance. Stressful but this too shall pass.

Well summer is chugging right along. We are celebrating our anniversary this month of 8 years on the 28th. Mark is pretty amazing and annoying all wrapped into one noisy package LOL. We had a great weekend and even managed to have Chris and I go on a mommy and son date to see "UP" we loved it. He chose that over Ice Age 3 I was kind of surprised. It is a totally cute movie I recommend it to couples even. We have a few more baseball games and Chris had pictures done yesterday after the drama of not finding his hat. We still have no idea where it is and have searched the entire house looking for it. Oh well I am sure we will find it after the season is over.

And didn't even think about it! I am horrible. I have a ton of pictures and things going on. I got laid off from work June 2nd. Mark has been busy thank goodness! And I have been staying home and job hunting a little so far. The kids are getting bigger. Chris has been playing baseball every Tuesday night and we have practice Wednesday nights. We are planning on going to Mark's brother's house for the 4th of July so that should be fun! Anyway I am going to make it a point to get on here more I am sure I have left out a lot since it has been a month!

I deffinately need to update, so much has gone on and I can't believe it has been more than 2 weeks since I posted last. Anyway, I had surgery on my achellis tendon on the 20th and I guess I am doing alright. I had to get re-casted on the 26th and on my way back into the house I fell on the dang cement stairs! I was horrified and of course I landed on my bad leg. Anyway, now we are going through a round of strep, thank goodness for our ward ladies. They are bringing dinner all week long and we are feeling very blessed right now because it has sure been a stressful week having mom out and down for the count. And we are getting ready for Miss Brooklyn's party.....which will be Saturday at 3. I am sad because she is growing up so fast, I love it but makes me sad she is not going to be my baby anymore. Just a little update not alot going on, kids are well being kids. I am having surgery on my foot on the 20th of this month so I am trying to get Miss Brooklyn's birthday stuff all lined up before her birthday. As you can see I girled up our blog this month in honor of her birthday. My nephew Dino and his wife Ning had their baby yesterday morning very early. Her name is Sydney Jean Howry she is so tiny, 4 pounds 14 ounces but mom was getting toxemia so that is scary. Anyway she is very pretty just like her mama. Looks alot like her daddy too.

We spent ours no different than we would any other night. We had Samantha and Kameron over which we always love. And just had dinner and a tournament on the wii, it was lots of fun. The girls were also playing beauty parlor and fun was had by all. Here are some pics of our new years.

We are having a lot of fun getting ready. We sure put alot of pressure on ourselves LOL. Mark wanted to get some painting done so we repainted the kitchen. At first I was like what did we get ourselves into? But now we both really like how it came out. Mark also cut down our huge dead pine tree in the front yard and we have enough fire wood to last all winter long too.

My old one was on the fritz which ticks me off because it is only 3 years old but that is how it goes for me. Anyway I love the clarity and it is so advanced LOL more than I am. But it focuses in on the faces and unlike my old camera it has a button to help catch the smiles when they appear!

I have been working and working. Home and at actual work LOL. We had both boy's birthday party on the 20th of September and it was a lot of fun. They got a lot of wonderful things but mainly we had a great time and our freinds and family made it as special as always. Chris started 1st grade and is doing really well especially with his reading and math. Brooklyn wants to go to school so bad. She actually tried to get on the bus. And Preston is working on walking, he can really get around. Mark's shoulder has been healed and he is doing really well with recovering. He has also been doing a lot around the house and yard especially. We get compliments all the time of how great the yard is working and that is all thanks to him. Right now they are redoing the whole road in front of our house that is noisy and smelly. Anyway I have been learning how to make scrapbook pages online and also how to make siggys so I am going to upload some of my work here for you to see. Anyway enjoy the picures! Leandra

Man I have been so tired lately, I started my new job just over a month ago and it is going great. But the new schedule is taking some getting used to, and being bounced around from shift to shift doesn't help. Anyway, school just started and Chris is in 1st grade this year and is happy to be back. Brooklyn has grown so much and is chatting up a storm lately too. Preston my baby is almost a year old! I can't believe it! Anyway planning a party for the 20th for both boys. Preston is one on the 20th and Chris will be 7 on the 24th. Adding some new pictures of the kids, Mark and I,

And I tried to post a few weeks ago and lost it and got ticked off so now I am back....calm and cool. So we have had a super busy summer and it is just now starting to slow down. We had baseball & T-Ball every night of the week except Fridays. Between Kameron, Chris and Sammie. Then in the middle of May finally got to move to our new house! And we are in love with it. I have had a lot of fun decorating and Mark got us a beautiful Cedar fence put in before his shoulder surgery on the 12th of June. Chris also had surgery on the 9th of June to get new ear tubes and they both did really well which was a big relief to me. So that is a lot in a nut shell posting some pics.

Well we have had another busy month. Kids and and are finally well and spring is coming. We had a little scare yesterday, thought Sammie might have mumps but thankfully she only had an infected lymph node. Anyway Preston is now 6 months! He is so adorable, loves being outside and loves his mama especially. He is such a great addition to our family. We are just gearing up for a busy summer. Chris is going to play t-ball and we are going to do as much fun stuff as we can stand this year too. Oh Marcie had her baby Logan Charles on March 13th. He was 5 pounds 12 ounces. He did have the heart defect but luckily it healed on it's own. He was in the NICU for almost a week but she got to take him home last Wednesday. I am beyond thrilled for her and Jon.

Gosh I feel wretched for my sister. She is going to have her first baby anyday now, and he has some health problems already. They told her first that there was something wrong with his kidney....so they sent her to a specialist. They tested her for him having down's syndrome and that was positive but the chance he has it is still very slim. Anyway here is is about a month away from her due date and all of the sudden they see a heart defect? So she now has to have him in Salt Lake City at the University Hospital so they can rush him to Primary Childrens and decide from there if he needs heart surgery. SO if you read this and you pray please pray for them, I didn't think it was supposed to be like that you know?

Sorry I have been MIA. Been sick again and can't seem to kick it. I decided to wean Preston all the way too since my supply sucked and I can't get feeling better. I have been sick all winter long I swear. I think I might have pneumonia but try getting into a dr unless you are dead it is impossible. I also got moved at work since we have been down, it is so nice I don't want to go back lol. Anyway things are trucking right along. Preston is over 5 months now.....growing like a weed. Man can he eat.
